The globe of Rust is a harsh 1 where danger lures in each corner. In this globe scrap became 1 of the most necessary stuff in the game. Scrap allows the player to learn and make fresh stuff but also buy fresh weapons from NPC's or other players.
Scrap is very valuable and can therefor be hard to obtain. Before the introduction of the Bandit Camp, players could only get scrap by farming junkpiles and 'radtowns' for components and recycle them in 1 of these 'radtowns'. The other method is by taking down players who have done just that.
Therefore obtaining scrap can be very troublesome specially for players who are not so awesome in PvP, players like myself.
The Bandit Camp has given players an alternative method to increase their scrap-wealth. You can gamble with your scrap by playing a type of roulette where you test to predict where the wheel will stop rewarding you scrap based on your bet and the value of that field.
